Hartford). Again, it was the only field that had unique, non-changing
data in it. (The consulting company we had help us with the original
installation recommended the samaccountname field!)
The only problem we encounter
The AREA LDAP connector was not working for us. This was in an
environment with 3 logical servers on 1 physical Solaris server. All
servers were separate installs (had their own database, etc). AREA LDAP
worked on one server but not the others and everything was configured
correctly.

My mistake. I exported the "ARDBC LDAP Configuration" form our test server
and imported it into the live server. But I just exported the form. I needed
to check "Add All Related."

I had an ldap issue with an update to 7.1 patch 3 long ago. It was a
little different.
I could authenticate with the first ldap in the config but the rest
wouldn't work. So not sure if this will help.
