Hard to tell from the information provided.
However, my gut feeling is that your equipment is just fine. Start
listening to well-recorded FLACs of at least 16/44.1 resolution. I
suspect that would make you happier than throwing money at better
equipment. But I may be wrong . . .

826Ws are -3db @ 40hz and extend down to 33hz.
The 1028BEs are -3db @ 34hz and extend down to 28hz.
A little deeper bottom end and the Beryllium tweeter seems like a
no-brainer to me. :)

Don't overlook cables. In my system, even a better (Monster, $15) cat6
Ethernet cable did cause a significant SQ improvement. I know, tough to
believe, but that has been my experience.

improvement over the out-of-box SBT. This is another step up. Not bad
for a $300 device!

I just listened to the first CD of the Gardiner's traversal of Bach's
cantatas with SBGK's values and buffer at 20,000. Brilliant and
absolutely mesmerizing.
