question about ospf LSA summarization and route summarization

i am confused about the difference between ospf LSA summarization and route summarization, i know they are different and also have certain relationship,the LSA summarization is automatic runned at ABR,and the route summarization must be manually configured. what's the relationship of LSA summariz
