I love my dish and would never give it up. If you have a keen eye for video
and know what MPEG compression looks like, you can spot it, although some
channels are encoded at a lower bitrate and artifacting can be bad,
especially when there's alot of motion on-screen. Most channels, including
Doyle hasn't written a second edition of his excellent Routing TCP/IP
Volume I as far as I know. A second edition is an update to the first and
doesn't generally cover new topics.
He has written volume 2 which covers different topics: BGP, multicast,

I had one of my T-1's go down today. Turned out is was actually on my end.
Anyways, I ran a loopback from the CLI to no avail (Down/Down). I then went
and swapped my cable, nota. So what the hey, I put it in loopback by
pressing the button on
That person will probably still whine that it's $70 bucks and demand that
the author should consider distributing it for free or with a discount.

Off topic VPN comment. My employer is FINALLY moving to VPN access to our
company network. This instead of that crappy ISDN RAS telco solution they've
been running for years. I'm so lucky to have been chosen as one of the beta
testers. Probably because I've been complaining so loud for so long.

Sometime your interface could go into a loopback mode, and the only way
to get that interface back on is by looback it again and then unloopback.

I rolled out a 3015 VPN concentrator (Altiga) not too long ago for a client
who had a ton of roaming sales people and outside vendors that I got working
with this. Found out the hard way that AOL will overwrite .dll's used by the
Cisco client software. Don't know
