Hi everybody, I am a CCNP. Does anybody know if I need to become CCDA to become CCDP or do I just need to take the CID exam? Also, is it better to pursue the CCIE directly rather than take CCDP first? Are they many tangible advantages in being CCDP? Thanks a lot guys

Just pass my 640-025 CID test. Not as bad as I think (because people always say that this is a tough and ambiguous test). Used Boson Test #1. It is Ok, but not as good as I hope to be (because many people said that this is a good test preparation tool) 7 Qs on SNA, 11 on Window, 22 on WAN __

Yes you need the CCDA to become CCDP even though you are a CCNP. Then take the CID to become a CCDP. Whether it is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of yet another 2 exams before attempting the CCIE is a matter of personal taste I would argue. Along with that argument I would say that the

Mark, Thats is not quite all that you have to do. In order to get onto the CCDP exam track you have to be a CCNA and CCDA. From that point you must then pass either the FRS or ACRC, CLSC, CMTD once you have done that then you should take the CCDP. You cna verify this on Cisco's website:
