Well I finally went ahead and took the exam and passed it... Would
really appreciate some suggestions to books for study towards my CCNP from
anyone that has passed any of the required tests... Much thanks in advance
for any advice...

hey guys and gals,
Well, passed my CCNA this morning. Showed up at the testing center and my
internet registration hadn't gone through, and I was all pumped for the
exam, so I had to do some running around to get re-registered, but that's
another story. The exam itself I found surprisingly easy
I've just taken and passed my first certification test today. I was quite
hesitant because I selected the CCNA 2.0 test. I did ok on the test. I
received a score of 870/1000. Passing was set at 820. Thanks to the group...

The few people I know personally that got their CCNA, start on the CCDA
immediately. Then again, they (and I) are also looking to pursue CCDP after
CCNP.

Hello, my name is Judy White and one of my close friends gave me some very
good study material. The material was so good that I passed my CCNA and
CCNP in a month. That's 5 test in one month with minimum study time. The
questions and answers that my friend gave me to study was identical to the

I totally agree with you!
I have worked in a number of places with people who are certified and their
productivity was zilch. You need to have a lot of experience to back up the
certification in order to be productive.
I would like to see how long many of these paper certs would last in a
