anything. I recently found an online station called somafm.com that's been
able to keep me working into the wee hours even as I'm approaching 40
(yuck).
Depends on my mood... if I need to get in a groove, some kind of

users to improve their software skills and to learn about upcoming product

I attended the Cooper U 4 day course this past December. It is well
worth it in my book. I come from a User Centered Design and Usability
background, so some of the topics that covered performing initial user
research I was already pretty familiar with. However, seeing how to
take the results

what an exhibition of IxD work might look like and how it might
communicate *what* IxD is to an unfamiliar audience.
So, a little cross-purpose there, but wrt this thread it might help
get planning started. Eg to draw backwards

Just came back from the 4-day Interaction Design Practicum at Cooper
in early February. Like Brad, I have a UCD/Usability and Visual
design background and was impressed with how they actually
implemented the Goal Directed Design Process.
It's definitely tailored for the real world. Their focus on

months is to call the position interaction designer w/ 3-5 years
experience it never really means that. The recruiter is looking at a

Depends on my mood and how much concentration is required. If I'm
