Sunspots :) Seriously, going through those steps clears out all the network settings which is sometimes useful if something somewhere got out of whack. You mentioned entering the SSID, which implies SSID broadcast is off on the router - that has been known to cause problems with some devices.

You might as well go for a 7.2 beta, 7.2 is very soon to be released. if you go 7.1 take the 7.1.1 the slightly bugfixed one Btw don't worry if 7.1 or 7.2 crash at the first start after install, just delete your cache folder and start again, it will then automatically build a new database. They
