Dave, The frequency accuracy of the XG2 will vary with the individual crystals. It is not specifically for frequency accuracy, but for level accuracy. In other words, I would not depend on the XG2 for any sort of frequency calibration unless you measured the output of a particular one with

[Elecraft] [K2] Microphonic 18.157.9 (+/-) ?

Hi All, I ran across an interesting thing with my K2. I have a very pronounced microphonic at 18.157.9. There is a carrier (birdie?) on that frequency and when I tap on the top of the radio, the tapping is clearly audible in the speaker. Has anyone else noticed this ? Thanks in advance,
