I did this a few years ago on another machine but evidently did not take
enough notes. Using 2.9.2 . I get an error of "Network is unreachable"
when I use Mesaflash to initialize the card from the command line. Any
hints?

Normally a ballscrew is not "springy or spongy" anyplace. Usually the
balls wear more than the screw or nut. Reballing a nut is not hard or

As a quick and dirty I will set it up with Cat 5 cable to start then
switch to something made for flexing.

If you have Linuxcnc you do not need the electronic leadscrew, it is
already in it.
I have been using Linuxcnc with threading for years. You can even use
the original leadscrew if you make allowances for back lash.
