I will look through the event viewer and log files to see if I can spot

Hello All,
we have a mixed Exchange 2003 and 2010
Well said Dark-rock. :)
To give you a different perspective, Peak 10 has been doing cloud for a
little over four years and the adoption rate is incredible. $SMBs to
$Fortune200s (I deal with them all) are sick of capital outlay for hardware,
they're tired of the of the IT cycle and just want
on Exchange 2010.
I guess there must be a setting somewhere!?

I thought I might have to, but I am interested to understanding how the
current send connector is configured. I cannot see any reference to
mail2 from the GUI. Would I have to resort to the command line to see
this information or am I missing something?
Thanks
Andy
will disable it to see.
Are the RCGs visible in the EMC or do I need to go to the command shell.
Thanks again

If you download and use the Exchange 2010 trial download can you just
convert it to a fully licensed product by putting in the appropriate
licence key or would you have to reinstall it?
Thanks

That's what I was hoping but on the download page it says it is time
restricted software which will expire in 120 days which made me wonder
whether this limit is hardcoded and won't let you put in a proper key.
How sure are you that it will allow me to enter a key?!
Thanks

of redundancy to a remote site without DAG in
2010. We can survive without email for 15 minutes so a degree of manual
intervention is OK, but any longer and we start to miss SLAs etc
Thanks in advance

(a uptime issue) your
database would be dirty if you had to powerup that remote server and would not
be guaranteed to have a good store mount.

some of the AD roles? I can search the Internet for a
how to guide...unless of course you could point me in the direction of a good
one!
So are you advocating sticking with 2007?! Is the only option now available
with 2010 the DAG based approach?
Thanks
Andy
