You can't have FIP without Corona, the Corona mutates into FIP, but it doesn't make it so that it's not Corona, it just creates the condition known as FIP (it's not the virus that mutates, it's the condition that mutates, if that makes sense). At least that's how I read it from Dr. Addie's site.

No. Those fever spikes, if they happen, happen immediately after getting it, last about a half hour, and then go away and don't come back. She has gotten I-R in the past for URI's without getting any fever at all from it. And now she gets fevers on and off all day whether or not it is a d
