Actually, the QSD is the mixer.

One might consider 'Transition to Virtual' as another topic. The SDR concept is
discussed all over the bands every day. And one consistent comment is, "I wish
they would make it 'look' more like a radio". Wouldn't an optional, detachable
front panel work here. While far less flexible, it still w

Hi,
I remember that someone on the list was stating using an SDR1000 and an

I need some help in making the external antenna tuner (long wire and old

If anyone is knowledgeable I'm your guest.

Dear Eric,
When I started running SDR-X ver 1.9.0 1168, I noticed that the noise
blankers and noise reduction features effectiveness had been significantly
reduced or eliminated as compared to the original ver 1.8.0. that I
originally downloaded about 7 weeks ago. This has been very dissappoint

One thing to keep in mind is that I/Q processing is almost never

also be done with all real signals. I/Q is just a convenience (and

What the heck is quadrature? What the heck is IQ?
I've been thinking how to express this concept and I think the way to do it is
to think inside the box. Imagine you want to describe a point in space
compared to a zero point. One way to do it is to draw a box and then draw the
diagonal insid

My IQ is at minimum, can you put it in 'comic book' form so I can understand
it?
I just learned my wife is ALWAYS RIGHT...so you can guess how stupid I am.
