machine (or if necessary an MP3000). Is this possible? Are cdroms mounted
directly to z/OS on any hardware platform? If so, how - a sequential device

we converted our 3400 stores from SNA to TCPIP. We still have the
majority of our network tasks isolated to our 2 CMC lpars. So I would
say the answer is Yes. The main reason is what was mentioned earlier.

I know there are shops that are using TCP/IP.
The one I came from had a CMC and a small TCP/IP, but I didn't care at the time.
Now, as a down-sized
I think it still 'works' but maybe not seen as much needed. Maybe it can
still be used to present 'one face' to the world or maybe as a 'dmz' for the
other hosts. Then again, with DVIPA, anyone can be that 'one face.'
