Qualcuno ha delle valide preferenze per farmi decidere?
Io, di solito (in windows) tenevo molto a questi aspetti:
1. la possibilità di decidere dove salvare le mail (principalmente le voglio
salvate sul server e non sul client)

Dopo il bug in supermount, mi sono accorto di un'altra cosa:
ho installato una rete configurando l'accesso a circa 10 utenti in fase di
installazione (con UID da 501 a 510). Quando ho aggiunto l'undicesimo ha
assegnato UID = 500.
Da quel momento non sono più in grado di inserire nuovi utenti dal
figurati ;-)

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I have updated to 3.0.5 and
I only use rpm's. I asked about updating kde on the TWUUG list and got
an answer. It might be in the archives. IIRC I downloaded all the
applicable rpms into a directory and updated from there. It worked.
No, never did Gary. I don't see the RPMs anywhere... checked several
mirrors and all that's available seems to be source. Redhat even has
updated RPMs, which is really funny because they're usually the last to
update KDE!

I run Debian on my server and I think it's great. Just leave it running and
it takes care of itself, apt-getting the latest updates automatically.
I thought I'd give this a try on my Mandrake system. Synaptic has half of my
system marked for removal! There's only 3 broken packages. When I
