You'll need to boot from the Windows 2000 disk and have it repair the
MBR. Once that is done, you'll lose the Linux boot information, so
you'll need to boot from your Linux CD and repair the boot sector
again. Once this is done, you should be good to go.

You need every user on the windows box to be set up as a user on the linux

It depends upon your Linux setup. If you have the automount daemon running,
then your removable drives will mount whenever you insert a disk. Accessing
the disk then becomes a matter of opening the konqueror file manager and
navigating to /mnt/floppy or whatever. If you do not have

There is a file browser in KDE. You can

/mnt/floppy
