I end up using this grub software that suse recommends from their
screwup having the repair option from their CD broken, and that fixed my
problem, I still have some problem with the ubuntu instance, but that's

If my backup's resulting file is 2 GB then, no problem.
BUT if the resulting file is over 2 GB then I get the disk is full error.
