It's not only patches containing a security fix that Sun currently
makes freely available.
We also make patches that match the following criteria freely available:
- Any patch required for the Solaris Patch Utilities or Patch Tools to
function correctly
- Any patch required for Live
Probably also worth mentioning ~/.wgetrc is another configuration file
that may be supplying username/passwd info to the wget calls made by pca.

I asked a colleague familiar with Live Upgrade about the issues with
the boot archive after using LU to patch and here's what he had to say:
