My guess is that digital is killing APS off much faster than it is
killing off 35mm. I believe that the biggest benefit to the smaller
format is size of body and lens. So you can get a fairly compact
camera that produces reasonable PS pictures. Some of the digital
models are equally
Minolta has stopped producing cameras for APS. Our minilab (totally
outdated Konica) can only 35mm and 110. Customers who wish to have APS
processed, nearly all complain about the $8.99 charge from Qualex. I'd say
give it 5 years at the most before it goes the way of Discfilm.

In my experience, the RSX II 50 will behave differently when processed
by different labs. From two labs here in Oslo, I have received images
with a noticeable magenta cast which was not at all nice. However, I
have also found a lab that do a decent job on this film.

Well, I lucked out. My b-day present came today and this one is no
paperweight!
My source rated this one an 8+...it's more like a 9+! Almost perfect...what a
gem.
I'm thrilled. I saw that Richard Tillis was selling one for $549 not long
ago. Mine was only $269 plus shipping.

I just got back some rolls shot at my daughter's 8th grade graduation.
All in all, I shot 1 roll of Kodak Portra 800, 2 rolls of Agfa
Portrait 160, 1 roll of Fuji NHG II and one 220 roll of Konica
Portrait 160. I shot this variety due to changing light conditions
