There are many (and growing) AAC+ streams on the web, the excellent Swiss Radio Jazz, Swiss Radio Classic and Folk Alley being examples of the ones I particularly listen to. The BBC have promised to publish the URLs more than once in their BBC Radio Labs blogs - one of the instances being here:

In terms of stations using AAC+ - the number is not really increasing and some new station use and then some other stations have dropped it. This may change if US ISP do more volume charging. Regarding codecs I was highlighting the fact that any change will probably be negative for some users.

Do the modification in the web interface instead by editing the menu in the Custom Browse menu configuration under SqueezeCenter Settings. There is a "Customize configuration" radio button at the bottom of the menu configuration options which lets you modify the XML directly from the web interface
