Hi William,
I dont do the math based on up front kwh cost, but on lifetime kWh based on the
number of cycles per average DOD that are going to be used. I use this same
formula to compare all batteries to each other.
Jay
Peltz power.
For example, a Rolls L16 ex has 3500 cycles at 50% DOD
shutdown before the time is up.
Of course setting the LBCO a bit higher will take care of that.
And there is an odd rebulk issue that might come into play for those doing grid
charging.
But the charge parameters and all that work just fine.

My curiosity is about both breakers tripping.
I would suggest using a larger output breaker, I believe its a 40, put in a 50

Hi all,
Are there any comments about Solis inverters?
Specifically the 10kw single phase?

HI Dave,
The reason I’ve not used it, is that is has no surge.
You might also look at the Sol Ark

regulating then it’s on the OB side
If it’s max power then it’s on the battery side

and use iota for 12v loads. Buts
that’s expensive.
Installing new wire would be complicated and expensive. But wire is large
enough to handle more power.
Are there are any cc that can parallel on the input side, which would be the
easy solution if it exists
Thx
Jay
Hi Mac
All depends on how much power do you want out there?

Hi Jason,
Have you rebooted it?
I’ve found that usually unplugging and replugging and possibly turning the CC
on/off works.

HI Bruce,
There is a lithium fire in the last 2 years in Arizona (APS I think) on a
utility scale battery.

probably run the inverters at 120/240 setup, as the back up
generator is 120/240. And when they use the 3 phase generator its on 24 hrs a
day. Yes it will only use 1 inverter to battery charge, but given 24 hr charge
time, it’ll keep up the batteries no problem.
Thanks to all,

I know I can do the inverters the way I want, what I dont know is if you can
have 2 x 120v magnum inverters both as master with a single controller.

Outback FXR’s each as a master, but I’d need to have 2 Mate3S’s.
But I don’t know if magnum has that possiblity?
Thanks

Hi Kent,
Yes that’s what I mean.
According to the manual I’ve got, up to 52v for the low, 64 for the high.
Which is high enough to do what the simpliphi needs.

Ray,
Have you heard bought about using the Aux relay to control the AC output at
what ever voltage you want?
