h I had removed it originally through redhat-config-packages. I had

Have you updated your system with RHN? If not, then chances are you have
a problem with an old bug with disk directives in snmpd.conf which
caused snmpd to crash when calling getmntent. If your system has been
updated, then I'd have to keep looking at this.

No, I don't need it to run fetchmail but I want to use its GUI to configure fetchmail.
If I fail to get it going then I might have to use the command line approach to
configure fetchmail.

I've been trying for some time now, without success, to run fetchmailconf on a RH8.0
system. The default installed fetchmail is 5.9.0-20 and I've installed the
