side of the hosel and snap it off as soon as the fit seems snug. If that

Oh well, I've done several - a couple dozen or more, by slitting the shaft
tips and never - never, not one time, did I have a failure. All the maybes,
mights, could be's may happen. If you do it right, it won't. Slit it, plug
it, epoxy it and don't worry about it. Now if its a full set, then sure,
I slit shaft tips with the thinnest blade Dremel cutter I could find. It
works but like Callaway does, you have to shove a plug in the tip to keep
it from collapsing. With Pings you don't have to do the Callaway 3/4" to 1"
slit. I haven't done a Ping for a while but I vaguely recall a slit about

You can use any enamel or acrylic paint. Just dip a small brush in the
paint, apply it to the stamping, wait a couple minutes and wipe it with a

full retail plus labor plus spining, freq-ing, weighting etc. All that
takes too much time.
But regrips? Easy money. Loft and lie? Easier money. I paid for my Scotland

As I recall , the hosel insertion depth on those dogs was pretty shallow as
well. I have a neighbor who played Lynx up until a year ago. I reshafted a
couple of them, and re-epoxied at least one of them. I used JB Weld for the
reglue. For the reshafts I just shimmed them with scraped and roughe
that does not bang into the ground when the club is hit, it will
last and can be done so it looks cosmetically ok.

one. The first wore out. There's at least one problem with the accuracy of the
lie board. Mine is one of those black plastic ones, about 1/4" thick. The
problem is the thickness. I try to use the lie board on a hittin
