At 2 thick you can use straping tape to strengthen the fuselage. At 1.5
you will need to add additional support. I would run carbon tube or basswood
longerons from the tail to about 2 from the nose on both sides.

Gents, this will definitely date me, but I used to
do MECHANICAL drafting where
we actually used pencils and drafting vellum (look
that one up).
There are still a few drafting supply houses left
that carry
a triangular rubber sleeve that will fit over a
drafting lead holder (or an X-Acto
between 5 to 10 lbs. Maybe more but not much. If you want more then double
up the rubber. I have seen people launching DAW ME163's with 1/2 tubing. It
got a wow and a gasp from the on lookers every time. Several hundred feet
strait up after a horizontal release.

this plane just hovers in for landings you can hit the schpot with this one.

One Small Problem the Contest is on the same weekend as the SC2 Contest Boy
now I need to decide well I have some old friends down in the poway area so

I have a Sapphire carbon/glass wings and stabs with a Sapphire Fuse the
wings and stabs were made by Fred Sage.. these wings were used by Fred Sage
and he did Great with them me well I was doing good last time out with the
plane but did not make my time on the last round anyways the plane has

As far as the SPot Dorker fuse being Lite that's not all the other most
important this is the Wings... I have a Brand new in the Box Spot Dorker
Kevlar Wing Ver... These wings are "LITE"... each wing weights about
13.1 oz... if you have a set of wings that are the same in size go weight
them and
