It is not only his language ability that he overestimates. His Mediawiki programming has a cargo cult flavour and he has a fetish for links going to the “right” place (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Iotw_text/2017-43=1516878=1516754 being a typical recent example)
