I use to collect imagery for Mapillary, especially around the Ottawa area, but now I'm collecting street imagery for OpenStreetView.com, which allows you to download your photos as you still own your photos. They are releasing more stuff(like public beta, josm plugin, etc) for the SOTM in Seatle.

We do have permission from the city to import: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Canada:Ontario:Ottawa/Import/Permission but the OSM lawyers have said that the license is incompatible as the city can pass on a lawsuit if someone sues the city for pointing them to the wrong address with osm
