Help! I have been using OOo2 (something) and had a multipage document that I edited often, added to often, shifted content from page to page, etc. After I ungraded to OOo3 (something) that document became "read only". And that is exactly what it is! Now, I can do nothing but read it. Incident

You should have an icon, it looks like a sheet of paper with a magnifying glass, approximately under the word FORMAT which you can click to make the document editable. You did not say why it is write protected in the first place, but I think it would be interesting if you checked the attribute

When I am OOo, I can click on the grey shaded areas. Then a pop up box appears. I can type in that (eg. my name) and when I hit okay, it 'fills in the form'. I have not 'unprotected' anything. Is this not a workable solution? The only issue would be that you can't tab between the form field
