And also on Look North, Ill be looking at the latest security system being installed in a nursery in Hull. Theyre getting very hi-tech with parents only gaining access after a finger print scan! Ill have more on that later. We were talking last night about the Lincolnshire man, who was so fed up of drivers speeding through his village that hes erected his own fake speed camera. Well, so many of you had a view on that one, so Ill be reading out your emails on that tonight. Watch out for that. My special guest tonight is the wonderful Angela Rippon. She wowed audiences in the Morecambe and Wise show and shes treading the boards at the moment in the Cole Porter musical, Anything Goes. Shes in Nottingham at the moment with that show, but Ill be speaking to her later on the programme. I hope you can join me then. Although, I think she sometimes did court attention. I was looking at the paper on Sunday and there was a very nice photograph of Prince Charles and Camilla celebrating their first wedding anniversary. But why oh why did they have to have a photograph of Charles and Diana on their first wedding anniversary next to it? Everyone is saying that they wish they would give Camilla a chance and stop raking up the past all the time. His first marriage should never have taken place. He obviously loved Camilla all along and she never created waves publicly. She kept quiet and in my opinion she acted like a lady through it all. That comes from Marian. There you are. Airlines I see that airlines are to crack down on passengers, who try to sneak too much hand luggage onto planes. Theyve been told to enforce rigid rules on the size, weight and number of bags that are taken on board. The move is aimed at clearing bottlenecks that build up at baggage scanning machines, outside departure lounges. Airport bosses and transport officials say that passengers too often take oversized suitcases onto flights. Some travellers also break the rules on the number of bags. Economy passengers are usually allowed just one item of hand luggage and business flyers are allowed two. So there you are. Water Were not actually in the area yet where we have a hosepipe ban, but I shouldnt say that, because we do have some readers of the Levy Letter down in the south east of England. I know theres someone living in Horesham that regularly reads the Levy Letter, so they may well be included in the hosepipe ban. Most of us though in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire are not covered by the hosepipe ban just yet, but theres a story about Wimbledon. Theyre hoping that they wont fall victim to the hosepipe ban. Theyre warning that tennis companies are in crisis talks with Thames water to allow the famous courts to be allowed to be watered before the tournament begins in June. Water firms want to extend the ban, which began last weekend, preventing householders from using a hosepipe, to include sporting venues. Places like Wimbledon though are hoping theyre going to be exempt. Can you believe it? Generation Well, what they used to do and what they do today mobile phones and computer games are killing off traditional playtime activities, so a new report says. In the old days, these were the favourite playtime games at number one was tag, number two was kiss chase, number three was hopscotch. Well, I certainly did the tag and the kiss chase, but Im not sure about the hopscotch. But these days the top three are a little bit different. Texting on your mobile phone is number one, football is number two and Playstation and portable computer games are at number three. Number four today is reading celebrity magazines. Number four in the olds days was skipping. Five in the old days was rounders. Today its eating sweets, chocolate and crisps. How things have changed? Number nine was cats cradle! I used to do that one, which is very worrying. These days its actually surfing the Internet and listening to Ipods! Johnny Briggs Thanks very much indeed to everyone, who have been in touch saying how brilliant they think Johnny Briggs has been playing Mike Baldwin until his departure from the Street on Friday night. I gather that at the end of this week, there is a special programme as well all about Johnny. There have been lots of adverts on the television at the moment calling it Confrontation Street! Thanks for the emails praising Johnny Briggs and my apologies as well. It was a slip of the tongue on Friday when I said hed been in Coronation Street for twenty years.
