The update has reduced the amount of "noise" my wife hears upstairs. I know

Just ordered a cable for my K3 to the THP amp and set the amp to Yaesu.
Works super. Now if THP could change this to Elecraft. that would be sweet.
However, the firmware isn't updateable I don't think so I will have to look
at Yaesu. The only Yaesu I have left is a VX3R. J

I use a Power Gate PGS40 with a GSM battery backup, same as UPS but cheaper
in terms of how long one can stay on the air, so the issues of what happens
when one loses power, here are none existant. I experience quite frequent
blips so power backup is important.

Fingernail length? Mine has no issues but I don't tune all that much using
the dimple. I do the Coarse and spin the dial when checking out a band.

Thank you for the refresher. While I have read the manual 3 times, I get
into a pattern and when someone asks a question, it helps me "refresh". The
