Would it be an option to upload unrecognized tracks and let their

I wouldn't want to do this without the user's knowledge. And then we open
up a whole new can of worms imho. New UI would be required, bandwidth

I assume that webpage is what folks are calling "the Blender"?
Correct.
I Can also select a song and it gives me the options of track
mix or artist mix, along with the smart mix options (although I seem to
have to right click on a song WITHIN the smartmix playlist to get the
SMART MIX OPTIONS.

First of all, thanks for releasing this plugin. I've been developing a
plugin for integrating EchoNest myself, but with a rather different
approach (focusing on catalog radio playlists, and using taste profiles
as seeds), so it will be interesting to compare the results.
A couple of points:

I have to say this is an excellent replacement for MusicIP particularly
since MusicIP doesn't work on my squeezeplug. Only two things bother me
at the moment.
Firstly the profile export always seems to end prematurely missing about
2000 tracks out of 24000. This is accompanied by a message that th

Blender.
Good to hear it's working for you, too! Would you mind to share your
recipe?

Unfortunately the music industry hasn't understood that things like this
would get us to buy more music not less, so they tend to charge anyone
that want to show information like this a lot so it's almost impossible
to do without some kind of commercial agreement or violating the

Regarding rescans, is a full rescan required or is it enough to trigger

New/changed is good enough.

is not accurate. But then I assume it's only a small part of

1) Is there a way to know which songs in your collection (I have around
8+ local songs) can be used / are recognized by EchoNest or not?
The plugin actually does this task to get rid of removed tracks. But to
protect users from the rate limit the process is seriously throttled
