Thanks as I am curious to as seeing Apple’s new music store on the same day is
really making me consider returning the Echo if all a VO user can access is
playing music on it through prime music than unfortunately the Echo is pretty
useless. I did quickly get a response from Amazon as I sent the
Hi Brian,
You can listen to podcasts on the echo. You can also connect and I heart
account, or establish one,. I did it with the Mac using the URL for the Echo
site. It is still limited, but it isn't as bad as just being able to play prime
music I think you are also supposed to be able to connec
Yes agreed it does do all that and I was able to get something from Tune In to
play and i did not have to log in to tune in or anything but I do have tune in

who does not use VO showed that feature off to me. Unfortuna
What you can do to get your IPhone and echo to play together through bluetooth
is tell your echo to pair. This will connect it via bluetooth. It will play
everything through the echo including voiceover. According to my friend it
won't do things like "whats app" through it.

Hey Bryan. Check your audio ducking to make sure it's not on?
Also, my friend said he just needed to turn up the volume on either the IPhone
or the echo the first time he did it.
Good luck.

Hello,
I would like to have an echo. I requested an invitation in early April and
there was an indication I should hear something in several weeks. Since the
echoes will begin shipping on July 14 I am wondering if I will receive one.
I hope the unit will work with airplay.

The echo at this time definitely does not work with airplay. I would not hold
my breath waiting for it to do so, as that is probably not what Amazon has in
mind.

Hi Brian,
How did you pair your echo with your iPhone? Did you just turn Bluetooth on on
the iPhone then tell Alexa to "pair"? Or did you have to use the app or the Mac
or whatever?

your iPhone volume must go to zero by default, just got it paired and playing
something from Downcast on the Echo. Thanks so much
Hi Mary,
Not sure what you mean does not work with air play as I just got it all working
and tried using Siri with the new Apple Music I said play Bon Jovi, and sure
