Ho dato un'occhiata veloce, secondo me le più interessanti da tradurre sono
code_of_conduct_interpretation.wml, legal/debian-community-site.wml,
legal/licenses/index.wml e trademark.wml. Le altre mi sembrano abbastanza
secondarie, sono o cose tecniche di Debian o questioni legali: se interessano
le prime probabilmente si conosce l'inglese abbastanza bene da leggere
l'originale, se interessano le seconde di solito fa fede il testo inglese e
quindi bisogna leggere quello comunque. A mio parere se l'obiettivo è
massimizzare l'efficienza nell'uso del tempo conviene tradurre altro o seguire
la proposta di Beatrice, poi sicuramente una traduzione in più è sempre
apprezzata, non fosse altro per poterci vantare che tutte le pagine utili sono
tradotte.
In ogni caso grazie per l'aiuto!

Ciao a tutti. Ho una domanda probabilmente stupida a cui non trovo una risposta. Leggendo le istruzioni per tradurre il sito (da qui [1]) e ho visto che qui [2] c'è scritto: > Once the page is good to go, you can commit it into Git. Scusate, la traduzione di postgresql-14 non era ancora pronta, l'ho inviata per sbaglio assieme alle altre tre. Ho due incertezze che volevo risolvere prima di inviare la traduzione, vi chiedo consiglio adesso. Il primo è sulla traduzione di "purge/purged". Da dizionario sarebbe "purificare/epurare/purgare", ma nessuna di queste mi sembra rendere l'idea. L'inglese è intuitivo conoscendo `apt` e simili, ma in italiano non saprei come esprimere la differenza tra "remove" e "purge". L'altro è su "cluster": "gruppo"? "Grappolo"? Inserendo `cryptsetup-nuke-password` quando viene richiesto vengono trovati `cryptsetup-nuke-password` e `src:cryptsetup-nuke-password` (output completo sotto), dalle rispettive descrizioni deduco che il secondo sia il sorgente del primo. Perché questa distinzione? Se ho capito bene, se volessi tradurre ad esempio brltty, dovrei: 1. inviare alla mailing list un messaggio con oggetto "[ITT] po-debconf://brltty/it.po" (immagino che l'oggetto serva per il bot) 2. scaricare il .pot da [1], rinominarlo da .pot a .po e tradurlo 3. inviare il .po tradotto a questa lista e a t...@lists.linux.it con oggetto "[RFR] po-debconf://brltty/it.po" 4. ricevute eventuali correzioni, inviare una segnalazione di bug con le caratteristiche indicate in [2] 5. ricevuta la conferma della segnalazione del bug scrivere in lista con oggetto "[BTS#] po-debconf://brltty/it.po" È corretto? Poi vi chiedo qualche altro chiarimento sulle informazioni recuperate nelle varie pagine. Nell'intestazione del .po, per la riga # Copyright (C) YEAR THE PACKAGE'S COPYRIGHT HOLDER il detentore del copyright va cercato di volta in volta sul sito o nel repository del pacchetto, giusto?
