Yes, 60. I realized last night I got ages confused with another friend who
was just diagnosed with cancer and just turned 62. She was delighted to
start getting her 'old lady' money and Renee never got to that point.

thanks for the clarification~

Re: CS>Renee~

2013-04-22 Thread maniaka rose
Renee was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last August. She had surgery first
of Sept, hysterectomy. At that time doc said he got all the cancer that
was visible. He told Larry and Joey it was a fast growing aggressive
cancer (common with ovarian cancer).

Both of her parents had cancer (killing her mom) and contributing to her
father's passing.

Renee had stage 4 breast cancer 23 years ago. At that time, after surgery
(one mastectomy) and 5 rounds of chemo (to appease her mom) she hit the
ground running, cleaned up her diet and continued on that track for several
years. Renee has always had a love of junk food and in her own words was a
junk food junkie. She also didn't put a lot of stock in organic (produce,
dairy or meat). She said while organic was deff the best a body would
adapt to what was available.

After her surgery she kept putting off starting her protocols. She cut down
on sweets to a great degree. January she got sick, lungs etc. Eventual
trip to er (painful blood clots in her legs) determined the cancer had
spread to liver, spleen, stomach and possibly intestines. At that time she
became basically wheelchair bound.

About a month later with a lot of arm twisting and encouragement from
friends she started some protocols but at that time was too sick to take
many. Everything made her nauseous or throw up. She did manage to get a
few things down but too little too late. We did manage to get her on a few
things that eased her discomfort and she had many 'good days'.

I've known and loved Renee personally for many years. She was an amazing
woman and stubborn as a mule. We had many debates on the importance of
food as one's medicine.

Alternative protocols are great and offer promise. I exclude whiz bangs
that are in abundance. Imho no matter how promising the protocol, it is
essential to combine that with a lifestyle that is as free from toxins as
feasible. It's not just organic of whence I speak.

The loss of her in our lives is obvious. It was her wish that her illness
and passing be a teaching experience for others.

I'm sending all messages of appreciation/condolences to Larry and Joey.

thank you

Renee was on so many list, more than I know. I've posted to a few but if
any of you know of others please share any of my posts. It is Larry and
Joey's wish that all that knew her might be informed.

We form a different kind of family on the internet. While we may never
meet hug to hug we meet in our hearts and share a special bond. Those of
us that know our special bond all to often have someone disappear and never

her family.

Hi Rose,

Just a quick note as I have a lot to do. Renee passed away this morning at
about 9AM. She was not in pain and left us peacefully.

The world will be a lot less bright without in it.

Thank you and all the others for your support and good thoughts. It means a
lot to Joey and me. Please let everyone know who also came to know her.

I posted this to our list few hours ago. Thought everyone here would
like to know.

We are all lighting candles for this beautiful lady~

~

Afternoon everyone,

I’ve put off updating on Renee’s condition till she came to the
conclusion herself that ‘it’s time’.  She had a good day last Tuesday,
wrote a cheery email, then lapsed into mostly sleeping/pain meds.
I’ve kept in touch with Larry.  So I’ve been expecting this if she was
strong enough to write.  I’ve edited out some personal back and forth
but this will give you ample feel for the time at hand.

I’m lighting a candle for her today and will keep it going thru her
passing.  As Mara wrote to me earlier…

I am visualizing her leaving at peace and without a lot of pain….

~
Know that all we did for her brought something to her life that she
did not have.  She realized how much she is loved by us.  She came to
value herself more and in that was able to let go of so many angers
and resentments from her life’s journey.  Nothing heals a broken heart
like tons of love being thrown at it.

While we were not able to save her body we along with others did save
her heart.  I can say this unequivocally from communications we have
had over these last months.  And for a short while she had hope and
some very very good days.  She has a peace in her now that was not
there before we all showered her with our gifts of love both
physically and in emails/bday wishes etc.  Each day packages arriving
brought her tears of joy.

I’ll keep everyone posted~

free U-tube version, I decided to watch it. It is profound, and
important, and well worth watching.
I watched it for free, since I wasn't going to put out 5 bucks on
http://www.thrivemovement.com to rent it, when I wasn't sure I was
genuinely interested in seeing it. It is worth the 5 bucks. In fact,
after seeing it for free I'm buying multiple copies (at 20 bucks each)
to share with friends. The U tube freebies keep being posted and then
removed by the system, but new people keep uploading it
again, varying the name enough to get it up there. The preview is
always up, but if you search on "Thrive" you will find it appearing.
The full movie is two hours and 8 minutes - that should help you find
the right thing regardless of what it is being called to get it on the
site. Once you find one watch it soon or it will be gone. It is well
worth the money. Not discouraging anyone from renting and/or buying
it. BUT it is important to see regardless. Sara

Re: CS>Tumor reduction

2010-09-14 Thread Stephen Rose
Because I'm not sure that I understand your question, I'll try to say
this in a way that seems clear (to me, at least). If you want to take
mms at 28% sodium chlorite (really 22.4%) and dilute it to 3% sodium
chlorite, start with one ounce of mms and add six and one half ounces of
water. This will result in stabilized oxygen at 3% sodium chlorite.
Did that answer your question?

It's called 'close enough'. I'd do 6 and a half ounces.

Because like Chuck said--it's not super critical. People have taken just
drops of straight, full strength MMS in water and gotten results. I
simply prefer to be a bit closer to actual stabilized oxygen--which can
be from between 2 and 3% sodium chlorite. The formula we have been given
will be 'close enough' to that.

So, subtracting the one ounce of fluid that represents the mms to be
diluted, you would add 6.47 ounces of water to get 3% using the 22.4%
sodium chlorite figure. The 5.3% filler might affect this slightly, but
I don't think it would change it very much. It looks like even if you
used the previous numbers, you would end up with about 2% sodium
Chlorite which is still in the range of stabilized oxygen. What do you
think?

Re: CS>Tumor reduction

I did wonder about that. I think we can fix it. Let's modify it this way:

  .224/x = .03

Solving for x,

  x = .224/.03 = 7.4

So, subtracting the one ounce of fluid that represents the mms to be
diluted, you would add 6.47 ounces of water to get 3% using the 22.4%
sodium chlorite figure. The 5.3% filler might affect this slightly, but

Ah--the rub comes in here--Jim Humble says it's 28% sodium chlorite. It

MMS as per Jim's instructions, it's actually a 22.4% of Sodium Chlorite.
The other 5.3% is the filler material.
So--does this effect the number of drops used to get at a 2 to 3%

Well, I wouldn't say that I'm a math whiz. But maybe I can help. So,
if you have an ounce of mms at 28% concentration, that ounce contains
.28 ounce of sodium chlorite. So the question is, how may ounces of
total liquid would you have to have so that .28 ounce of sodium chlorite
is only 3% of the total? So another way of say it is this:

  .28/x = .03

Solving for x,

  x = .28/.03 = 9....

So, since the total volume needs to be 9 and 1/3 ounces, and you started
out with an ounce of mms, add 8 and 1/3 ounces of water to get 3% sodium
chlorite. How does that sound? Of course, you could use any unit of
measurement that you want. The numbers should still relate. Maybe a
real math whiz can check my logic. :-)

Pretty much. Only MMS is full strength at 28% while stabilized (or
activated) oxygen is between 2 and 3% of sodium chlorite. So no need to
activate it externally with acid. It activates with your stomach acid.
It does need to be diluted in water though, even at that strength. So a
person with a bottle of MMS can dilute this down to 2 to 3% to get
stabilized oxygen. Just please don't ask me how to do this--I'm math
challenged.

Samala,

What is in the "oxygen drops?" Is that the same as MMS (sodium chlorite)?

Right Steve, the HF is 60 now but only has 30 day warranty. We have
never had any luck with HF for quality. This may be diff but it's
just been such a bust for us with HF stuff, repeatedly to the point we
said no more HF for electronics or moving parts and most tools just
cause they are not up to regular use.

The Kendal I am leaning towards on ebay is 170 watts, 2 litre, 1 year
warranty. just that it has longer than 30 day and not from HF is
worth it to pay a bit more. The ebay seller has near perfect rating.
Cost 30$ more including ship.

Who knows, prob all made by the same 'quality' cough cough mfg in
China but multiple burns HF wise and we have cold feet.

thanks for trying to save us a few bucks tho

Ah, Ode, you have given me a wonderful idea which relates to CS and
keeps my thread on topic (note to Mike ) we have several rooms
downstairs partitioned off by wire...one housing 2 coons, skunk and
fennec fox, other room rats and Bush Baby (noctournal primate Africa)
and other room with pooches, kitties flirting at times with mild uri,
who go in and out at leisure. with all the spring rains in abundance
this year the area is damp (cement floor still to be tiled, tuit in
the making), i envision mold etc. i wanted a way to clean the air on a
regular basis...something more than the hepa air cleaners. i'll fill
the humidifyer with cs...would you recommend full strength or dilute
which would send it to all the areas, particuallary if i use a fan.
now what could be more lovely than to saturate the air with CS? while
having this beautiful display of colored lights and bubbling bowl (the
units i bought are really quite lovely). ambiance and restoration of
air quality all in one.

this is such a wonderful idea

still very adequate, the 200 watt units by various mfg big price jump.

This is probably accurate as the heaters typically use much more power
than the ultrasonic transducer.

Even Brooks seems to think it's 160W (according to his comments).
Harbor Freight's current ad states: "160 watts provide more ultrasonic
cleaning action".

Many models sold to dentists and doctors for hundreds of dollars more
only use around 50 to 100 watts for the cleaning function. >>>

CS>Sonic cleaners

2010-05-20 Thread maniaka rose
Afternoon,

I am researching sonic cleaners. Have found this one on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/170-WATT-2-LITER-DIGITAL-ULTRASONIC-CLEANER-HEATER-/310220644161?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483a975f41

Unit is a Kendal which has 170 watt. However, in reading post on
sonic cleaners the information that even the 160 watt cleaners only
utilize 50 watts for cleaning...the rest of the wattage is for
heating. Can anyone comment on this for my clarification?

I'm passing on the Harbor Freight unit bc it has a 30 day warranty.
Frankly we have never had any success with items from HF lasting any
even brief amount of time so I want to go with a unit that has a year
warranty bc it means at least in the short term the co expects it to
last more than a few weeks. This is also the longest warranty I have
found on any unit thus far, including the larger 160 watt unit. This
unit is 30$ more than the 2 1.2 litre from HF. It's 2 litre which is
plenty for our use.

This unit

http://cgi.ebay.com/160-WATT-5-29-PINTS-DIGITAL-ULTRASONIC-CLEANER-HEATER-/330433239383?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cef5b1957

is the 2 1/2 litre, 160 watt that only has 6 mo warranty. This unit
has no label that I can see so brand unknown.

We have a sanctuary for special needs beast so will be doing
experiments on beast and us. Wish to explore creams, other minerals,
vitamins in liposome form. Any input from your ongoing experiments is
most sincerely appreciated. Please email me privately if this is
going to far off topic.

thanks as always for being such a wellspring of information

Evening...we are discussing this on my list and the question comes up
'why refrigerate'.  our naturopath in Au says her recipe is to sun the
mixture 'using the warmth of the sun to aid extraction of the active
ingredients into the vinegar.  Once made, it doesn't need to be
refrigerated either.  It keeps for years and years at room
temperature.'

there are many variations on the web...sun, dark closet, fridge,
cupboard, steep for 3 days after the original refrigeration.  head
swims :)

i wonder if you tried the sun method and found this to be more potent.

just trying to connect all the dots.  your input most appreciated.

Re: CS>3600 volts EIS

2010-02-22 Thread Alvin Rose

Hello Ode
you can make excellent colloidal silver with a Microwave oven
I have been using one for years ..There is no danger of High voltage
as the colloidal silver is made inside of the microwave and the door will
not open until the timer has stopped..The colloidal silver is made with
from 2400 to 3600 volts DC and is water clear up to about 20ppm..The
electrodes

need to be cleaned every two minutes..You can make one and one half gallons
in about 12 minutes depending on PPM required..Particles are very small
on a spectrometer..use 1/4 or 1/2 inch wide silver rods 6 inches long.

Really high voltages gets those ions away from the electrodes really
fast.
That's how most of the commercially sold EIS is made as *time is
money*..but that much voltage can shorten your time on Earth even faster.

No generator maker in his right mind would sell one to a "consumer".

Or something like that.

If that really works, then I should be able to make pretty good EIS with
the 2000v electrophoresis power supply in a very short time. Maybe I have
been over-cooking the stuff trying to get higher ppm...?

Subject: Re: CS>Which layer of skin for silver deposit?

Hello Dick,

uS is micro siemens, and is a measure of the conductivity of water. Since
the electrodes are spaced 1 cm apart the results come out in uS/cm.

Some instruments are set up to display PPM. They do this by measuring the
conductivity of a salt solution, then multiplying it by a factor number to
arrive at PPM. If you are measuring the same salt concentration that the
meter was set up for, you will get reasonably accurate PPM results.

Unfortunately, none of the standard calibration solutions are set up for
EIS.

Trem (SilverGen) made several batches of EIS, tested them with a uS meter,
then sent them off for laboratory analysis. He uses a Hanna PWT meter.
Since EIS is mostly ionic, and since the PWT meter mostly responds to ions
rather than particles, the theory is that the uS value should be close to
the actual PPM of silver in the solution once correction factors are
applied.

The process involves measuring the water you are starting with. When your
batch is finished, let it sit for a day or so, then measure it and
subtract
the initial reading you got for your water. This should be an indicator
of

the ions in the solution. When Trem got the lab sample reports, he
discovered that a "typical" batch has about 85% ions and 15% particles.
He

suggests using a 1.2 correction factor for EIS made with his generators.

While fine in theory, there is some controversy over this. Ode has also
had
lab samples done, and does not find the correction factor valid. On top
of
that, the lab people say that a conductivity measurement will only provide
a

"ball park" estimate of the concentration of silver in solution, and the
only way to know for sure is to spend the $200/sample and have it
analyzed.

This is why I gave my results in uS/cm rather than PPM.

The main question is to determine what ion contamination can be introduced
into the solution when you heat it up. If there is no contamination being
introduced, then it is reasonable to believe the concentration is being
increased by removing water from it.

Do you use the same amount of sodium ascorbate as you do ascorbic acid?
Meaning if you use 1tbs of ascorbic acid you'd use 1tbs of sodium ascorbate?

I really want to do this because I want as much Vit C in my system as I can
get! And I need to make sure I do it right, of course.

So the protocol would be:
1. Dissolve 3 level tablespoons of soy lecithin in 1 cup of water
2. Dissolve 1 level tablespoon of SODIUM ASCORBATE powder in 1/2 cup
of water.
3. Poured both solutions together in the ultrasonic cleaner bowl and turned
the unit on
Etc...

Is that right?

Thanks!
Gina

"Delivery System Makes a Difference

I've recommended curcumin and turmeric to my patients and subscribers

There's only one problem—curcumin is notoriously poorly absorbed.
That's why many supplements also contain
quercetin and/or piperine, herbal extracts that enhance its
bioavailability.
The new form of curcumin that I've been using, called Meriva, employs
a special delivery system to ensure optimal bioavailability. Meriva is
a phytosome complex, which means-that the active ingredient is bound
to phosphatidylcholine in order to make it easier for your body to
absorb. This gives you a lot more bang for your buck. Studies have
demonstrated that just 450 mg of Meriva is equivalent to 4 g of
regular curcumin in terms of increasing blood levels."

Re: CS>Re: Linux

2008-08-22 Thread Stephen Rose
There may be an easier way to get into Linux for you. The Linux
distribution that has the most momentum right now is Ubuntu. This is
because Mark Shuttleworth, a gentleman that made his money in the
internet boom, started a company to take Debian Linux and refine it and
support it. It's still free, but you can buy support if you need it.
This support is mostly for business, but the Ubuntu forums are quite
active and you can find answers for issues relatively easily. Ubuntu
releases every six months (unlike Debian) and stays much more up to date
without running the bleeding edge version. A lot of effort is put to
making the install process simple. Also, you can boot the install cd
and try it out without installing it. Go to:

http://www.ubuntu.com/

and check it out. You'll probably want to start by downloading the
image of the install cd here:

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

You'll need to burn this to a cd, then boot from that cd to check it out
and/or install it. I would start with a spare pc. That would let you
run it until you get used to it. There's a learning curve with these
things just everything. :-) I would suggest at least a one gigahertz
machine with 512 MB of memory. It's possible to get along with less of
a machine, but it will be more painful. I've run free operating systems
for many years and Ubuntu for the last few. I'm still running some
Windows, but eventually I expect to be mostly Ubuntu.

Due to impending regulation, I wouldn't approach it this way.

If you'd really like to get a quantity of Lugol's Iodine, you can order
from Clarkson Lab.

http://www.clarksonlab.com/sales.htm

You'll have to order by phone and order a $50 minimum to start an
account. If you're outside of California, your Lugol's order will come
from Ricca Chemical in Texas because of a California law. Once the new
DEA regulations take effect, you'll still be able to get a 5% potassium
iodide 2% iodine version of Lugol's in quantities greater than one
ounce. But you'll have to hurry if you want traditional Lugol's in a
larger quantity.

well, i take a different approach to teeth. teeth are batteries for organs.
removal imho should be a last resort. years ago hubby had an ingrown wisdom

wade thru so many charlatans and pick the lesser of evils. hubby mixed dmso and

to normal. since he doesn't like surgery he left the tooth in for almost a
year.

i have a crown some 42 years. over time the tooth has been sensitive on
occasion...and painful. the dmso tea tree oil is very effective. when the
tooth flares i look for the organ associated with the tooth as an indicator the
problem behind the symptom.

presently studying rife technology. if you know of anyone who has a rife, good
rife, i would start there. it is also possible that a simple electronic device
(have not studied the others) may benefit.

pulling the tooth would be my last resort, and only after i had tried everything
else.

for me it becomes do i remove the tooth and deal with the permanent diminished
battery source and early warning system for the organ or do i deal with
occasional bacterial conditions that i have always been able to successfully
address.

i was wondering how to get a message to bob's wife about what he meant to me. i
found out about his passing just before i was to leave for town for food
donation pick ups. it hit me like a hard wave...inside my heart i feel quiet.

Dear Audrey,

we have an animal sanctuary for special needs animal beings. when i began the
internet exploration many years ago the CS list was the second forum i found. i
had tried silver over the years with mixed results, usually finding it
ineffective. as i read i understood that the best silver i could use was the
silver i make. Ode built us a prototype gallon gen that is still going strong
today. I would read your husband's post and learned so much from them. i so
appreciated his dry wit and cranky demeanor...might say we are kindred's in how
we approach the world.

i never communicated with your husband personally but i always treasured his
post. he had an attention to detail that is impressive by any standards.
occasionally he would post about his condition and say he didn't know how much
longer he could hold out but that he would keep on going till the going stopped.

heart wise...i just felt his heart. such a good, kind and loving heart. even
when he would get frustrated he would always come back and give it one more go.
must have been frustrating for him because he always laid out the information so
clearly and just wanted folks to 'get it'. he wasn't about smoke screens and
magic mirrors...'just the facts mam, just the facts'.

your husband has helped so many people...so so many. he has also helped so many
animal beings...at our sanctuary many many hundreds. he made this planet a
better place for his giving.

i always love reading melon-thomas benedict's story of how he was dead for at
least an hour, what he saw and how he now understands the cycle of life. when i
read 'ole bob' had passed over i knew where he is and what he is seeing.

please know how much we all respected him and cared for him. please know how
much we all extend our hearts to you.

with so much respect and affection,

the pH of the water. Very low pH is acidic and has been shown to be of
use on bed sores and skin ulcers from diabetes. This method may be
worth looking into also.

Re: CS>Coconut Oil

2006-03-29 Thread rose
we just bought some coconut oil from this place

http://www.agbangakarite.com/whole_coconutoil.php

the quality is wonderful, smells heavenly, taste wonderful. this is a fair
trade company which is in alignment with our preferences. this is our first
shipment and we are very pleased with the company, there response staff and
their good vibes in general. we ordered two gallons, it came packaged well and
in a timely fashion. we did have to wait a few days for their fresh shipment to
come in. below is a communication from them...

Thank you for your support and interest in our virgin coconut oil. All our
oils are food grade under the Togolese food regulation, but not under the
FDA. We ship your order out by Thursday as our new fresh shipment will
arrive tomorrow.
Thank you,

this site has some interesting info...

http://coconutoil.com/

we have stopped using any oil but coconut and olive...the palm oil is out of our
price range for now. i did enjoy reading daddy bob's account of the distinct
flavors.

we were caring for a kitty with fatty liver disease...the stress of being dumped
set the condition in motion...and although he succumbed to fip, another
challenge he had, the addition of coconut oil to his food we attribute to his
lasting as long as he did in relative comfort. we actually got the jaundice
cleared up...on the theory the coconut oil would help clean the liver and give
energy in his emaciated state.

we are exploring the oil issue in depth. i know that i am always cold in winter
months and changing oils made for warm hands and feet...something i have never
had. i had read some 30 years ago about rancid oils being one of the biggest
causes of all sorts of health challenges...but like all good things you
read...well, you know. i will never go back to the garbage they sell to a
sleepy public. coconut oil is such a minimal investment in our health and the
health of the animal beings at our special needs animal sanctuary when you
consider all the things you have to do to cope with ingesting rancid oils, or
just plain poly-unsaturated. the oil is simply AMAZING.

Re: CS>braces on teeth

2005-10-09 Thread rose
i had a gap in my front teeth that a wonderful dentist fixed for me eons ago.
he used acrylic filling and just added a little to each tooth to fill in the
gap. as the acrylic fillings improve the time between sprucing the fillings
diminishes.

it is a very inexpensive (compared to braces) solution. when i got older and
had a bit more money i went to a dentist and he made a retainer, just the
retainer, for my front teeth pulling them a bit more in alignment. he told me
teeth move easily, which they do. just kept going back every month for awhile
as he reworked the retainer...in a few months i had the smile i always wanted.
again, cost was minimal.

you just need to find a dentist that still knows how to take care of teeth in a
simple manner. they are out there, you just have to look.

Re: CS>CS>campylobacteriosis

2005-08-19 Thread rose
i am still having trouble with the search on the web site...anyone else having
that problem? we had 2 dogs and 2 cats come down with campy...both dogs are
fine, lost both cats...at the time did not connect the dots or would have
started the same treatment for the cats also. the adult kitty we found collapsed
died within the hour, the kitten staggering around we thought was heat
exhaustion. the only reason we can figure that we were not hit with an epidemic
is that temp we are hauling water so we are treating it for ecoli. by all
rights we should have had at least 50% of the animal residents down with campy.
the ones that did get it, out of the 4, 3 were on the "good water" we hauled
from a neighbor so not treated with cs. the campy was brought in with dogs that
were s/n on friday and by sunday we had campy. we are trying to track down
anything we can to establish protocols that can be shared. in other words, some
kind of documentation for the more research minded. this could be some rather
ground breaking protocol for the rescues, kennels and others where animal beings
are gathered in numbers. campy in dogs is referred to by various
names...mystery dog flu...mutated parvo that is resistant to vac...and other
imaginations. parvo is a virsus, campy is a bacterial overgrowth. campy makes
parvo look like a walk in the park.

if anyone can shed any light on this please...i have searched in online several
times and come up empty handed.

thanks

thank you all for your valuable contributions. we settled on one tablespoon per

moving so slow in this heat *grin*.

once again i am so profoundly grateful for our silver, our generator from ode
that time and time again makes wonderful silver even tho we have the older
prototype for a gallon that he designed for us...knowing he has made many
improvements since then but ours is like a timex...takes a lickin and keeps on
tickin.

drill a new well...arg and hooray. our well has never been the same since they
blasted a mile long tunnel three miles from here (for a new bypass) several
years ago. when it rains heavy our water is almost mud...and increasingly more
of a sulfur smell. hopefully with the new well we will have water improvement
quality. in the process of reading about wells last night learned much valuable
info on collecting ground water...for the eventual time when electricity may be
absent. there are more ways to collect it than on the roof...so an exploration
in progress.

now to check out the first well driller coming in a few...and already i don't
like him...as he is pushing for a well 200 feet more than we need...the good ole
boy sales pitch. boy will he be surprised when he comes and all that i have
learned terms wise...gotta love the info highway of the internet. this evening
the other fellow will call and these brothers come the most highly recommended
and only 50 cents more a foot. from what i hear they don't push to over drill
and are very lovely to work with. keeping fingers crossed. i just have a real
aversion for the slick good ole boys...as i have dealt with them many times over

CAFTA undermines immigration laws

By: TOM TANCREDO - Commentary

Congress will soon take up the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA),
which many see as an extension of NAFTA and a precursor to the Free Trade
Agreement of the Americas that would convert all of North and South America into
one integrated market.

Opinions about CAFTA's impact on the regional economy vary widely among members
of Congress based largely on what the agreement will do for their constituents.
But in the rush to highlight who wins and who loses when these trade barriers
come down, almost everyone has overlooked the troubling non-trade provisions
that are tucked into the voluminous document.

CAFTA would do more than just phase out tariffs and open new markets a lot
more. For example, buried among its nearly 1,000 pages, the agreement contains
an expansive definition of "cross-border trade in services." This definition
would give people in Central American nations a de facto right to work in the
United States. CAFTA is more than a trade agreement about sugar and bananas. It
is a thinly disguised immigration accord.

The immigration provisions are cloaked as "service agreements" in the document
that have become standard fare in most trade agreements.

One article of CAFTA reads, "Cross-border trade in services or cross-border
supply of services means the supply of a service ... by a national of a party in
the territory of another party." CAFTA goes on to stipulate that member nations
take care to ensure that local and national "measures relating to qualification
requirements and procedures, technical standards and licensing requirements do
not constitute unnecessary barriers to trade in services," and to guarantee that
our domestic laws are "not in themselves a restriction on the supply of the
service."

What those provisions mean is that a foreign company would be empowered under
CAFTA to challenge the validity of our immigration laws. If an international
tribunal rules against us, Congress would then be forced to change our
immigration laws or face international trade sanctions. These tribunals have the
authority to rule that U.S. immigration limits, visa requirements, or even
licensing requirements and zoning rules are "unnecessary burdens to trade" that
act as "restrictions on the supply of a service."

This hidden legislation to open the U.S. border is only the beginning.

The chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, which oversees most
international trade matters, believes that these kinds of immigration provisions
are fair game for future trade deals as well.

If CAFTA were really just about trade, the agreement would be little more than a
few pages long, declaring that tariff treatment for U.S. and Central American
goods will be on a reciprocal basis. But it isn't. In reality, CAFTA is about
expanding a growing body of international law that supersedes our own.

If CAFTA is approved, Congress' "exclusive" authority to regulate immigration
policy will be subjugated to the whim of international tribunals and trade
panels in much the same way that Congress' once supreme constitutional
authority to "regulate commerce with foreign nations," has already been largely
ceded to the WTO.

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is a member of the House International Relations
Committee.

hum, then you might want to make this suggestion to our government.

I mention this because I did read the interesting attack on Pasteur posted
on the the Matrixcide web site.

well, pasture did a lot of harm to a lot of folks...so maybe some folks get
a bit steamed.

The author of this sometimes highly intemperate essay at times clearly
advocates physical violence against MD's involved in vaccination
programs. The author unambiguously advocates shooting them. This is
not a mere rhetorical device or hyperbolic outburst; the author
evidently is quite sincere in advocating the deaths of those who would
impose vaccination. He makes this statement several times in the essay.

i have not read the essay, but there are folks that take strong issue with
forced vaccination feeling that the vaccination will harm them and their
children with lifelong illness if not death.

I note that the author of the essay is NOT the person running the web
site. Nevertheless, it seems to me that a person who posts such advocacy
without taking the trouble to distance himself from such comments runs the
risk of being seen as a potential source of violence himself.

so, that would be personal choice, right?

Further, I know that experts in bioterrorism are extremely worried
about public hysteria in the event of an epidemic/pandemic, and worry
about necessary measures for quarantining those whose refusal to follow
epidemiological guidelines might imperil others.

ah, the "necessary" measures...and i just wonder who will start the
epidemic/pandemic?

This whole issue is a can of ugly, writhing, toxic snakes, and even the
best people in the field can come to differing conclusions about the
proper course of action in an emergency.

again, hum, and who will "manufacture" the emergency.

The point here is simple, though:
if I were among these folks, essays advocating the murder of doctors would
make me very worried indeed. I would want law enforcement people to keep
an eye on those advocating such actions.

homeland "insecurity" is recruiting ordinary folks to do just that, keep an
eye on your neighbors. let's all join.

In summary, I think that the misdeeds of doctors, politicians, and anyone
doing wrong need to be exposed. However, those who advocate violence are
very likely to do great harm to their own cause, and to bring unwanted
attention to themselves and others associated with them.

again, might want to offer that suggestion to our government. as it is the
US now has unwanted attention and we are all at risk by being associated
with them.

I think Mr. Devour should be aware of this aspect of the web site that has
brought about the controversy.

i think mike is full aware of most all that goes on. hum, what should he
do, slap someone on the wrist?

but if i don't stop i might get slapped on the wrist...sorry mike. i am
zipping it up. sometimes you just can't refuse tho, ya know?

Re: CS>[List Owner] Dan Nave

2005-03-08 Thread a rose...
everything i read in the open letter to the list was mean spirited and had
nothing to do with helping anyone, anywhere.

"This act of controlled folly is my gesture to you, the Silver List."

why make a gesture to the Silver List...what has the list done to you? in
any list there will be a diversity of visions, beliefs and behaviors. yet
we come together to try and form a cohesive unit to accomplish something
more than living in our own little boxes, making our imaginary wars with
each other. you drive thru neighborhoods knowing that most folks don't
even know their neighbors...maybe the ones on either side, maybe even
across the street...but neighbor-hood? not really. how can we ever expect
to make a change on a world scale when we lie in wait to ambush someone or
some list...

in this sandbox i want my way or no way. love the grandstanding...i will
just leave.

fine...apply for a job in politics...seems to be the norm there...my way or
the highway.

i find this so saddening...and even more so by the "me too", and "me three"...

i have said it for years, and sigh, years...humans, think like a herd and
act like a pack.

very big sigh,

virus, fungi, yeast, bacterial infections all have one common
component...they must have a food to survive. to have a system under such
assault is to say there is an abundance of food (waste) in her system to
support these situations. nothing less than a full liver detox and kidney
detox will have any real desired effect. remedies will only treat the
symptoms.

actually the virus, fungi, yeast, bacteria are the body's way of
maintaining homeostasis...as these agents act as the garbage men of the
system.

nothing less than a full understanding of the liver, kidney and lymphatic
systems and cleaning and restoring them will bring any relief. to that end,
a through web search for all the different modalities to cleanse would be
advised. there are products you can buy, but you can also make your
own. she can look up liver cleanse (olive oil, lemons, garlic) or Epsom
salts just to name two.

also to look up parasite cleanses.no doubt she has a parcel.

also dehydration is an issue for her...

oh Brooks, i am so happy to see you back. We have had so much going on

very first thing i looked for was signs of you. I hit subject, it went
alphabetical, then i scanned for you. I have thought of you so very often
since your life altering events of last year. I have so many of your wise
post saved in a Brooks folder and always look to your wisdom when i am
trying to solve a problem. You are one of the very dearest human beings i
have had the good fortune to learn from. I am very sorry about your friend
and know it must be very hard to bid a temporary adieu. I am 55 now and i
tell my younger friends that i am grateful to be closer to the exit than i
am to the entrance. there is a peace in having passed the line from coming
in to going home. i would not trade the beauty of youth for the wisdom
that increases with each year. a very dear friend sent me this last
week. it came at the perfect time as i had been crying, sobbing, over the
increased Patriot act signed on dec 10th, or was it the 11th? ( i am also
behind on the news) it all seems so crazy. when i read this link a peace
filled my being.

believe it was legitimate, but went along with it to
see what would happen, when they would ask me for
money. I kept getting phone calls telling me that a
check was coming to me, and to deposit it into my
account. They would tell me who to write a check to
afterwards. I still thought I would never see any
check, but would be asked for money. But, last Friday,
a courier truck came up my driveway and handed me a
big envelope. Inside it was a check made out to me for
$34,000!

I wasn’t sure what I should do. On the one hand,
$3,400 (my commission) would have paid for most of my
daughter’s braces. On the other hand, I was afraid of
the attention depositing such a big check could draw
to me. Plus, how would I convince the gov't I didn't
owe income tax on the whole amount? Besides, I
fingured it was just some kind of money laundering
thing. I finally emailed the man on Sunday and told
him to send me an address to send him back his check.
I haven’t heard from him, and don’t really expect to.
So I will keep the check as a souvenir. A $34,000
check! I know it’s worthless, but it looks kool.

We heard that too...but then found out it was some kind of algae that
would not be growing in the water dishes...wish I could remember, it was
so long ago. When I first moved here the pond was, and still is, an algae
haven. I had an old dog with skin problems who immediately went to the
pond and sat in the algae water, drank it on a regular basis
also. Figured he knew best what he needed. Guess need to research it
again so I know more about what I can't remember lol...

I used to think algae was good too but then someone told me algae can be
deadly to the animals. Not sure why but if someone tells me this, I sure
don't want to take any chances when I know clean, clear water won't hurt
them.

I never open any attachment, and god forbid any exe. file, unless I know

the virus to everyone on her address list, common. On some of the yahoo

link to check on your email account for security...worded a bit more
discrete tho in hopes some will follow and open...and sigh, some will. But
at least the list community is becoming more savvy. Apparently with the

Re: CS>Re: Colloidal Silver ppm reading in Oz

2004-03-01 Thread a rose...
Well, probably several post then from various sources, as I posted recently
about cs and acrylic fillings...having been warned that silver turns
plastic gray, then said it was at the time I was buying oz silver, at 150
ppm. I remember the woman who wrote to the list about her argyria, had a
few pms with her. Since she felt she got nowhere with oz, I called the rep
I always dealt with and sent her copies of the information. Shortly after
that the ppm was reduced to 100 ppm...when I inquired as to why got a big
"dunno" and the label was changed to take only for limited time, instead of
take every day and this will never hurt you sort of thing. That was the
beginning of my disillusionment with oz...they originally told me I could
take tons of silver with no ill effects, just to be aware that it turns
plastic, formica etc, gray. So naturally I never used it as a hold in
your mouth wash. After lots of research, and discussion on the list, and
Frank's test results, came to the understanding the silver I make is the
best for me. That is why I now want to try it for a mouth wash...but had
still wondered if anyone got gray teeth...
According to the oz site I checked tonight it is still being sold at 100
ppm. They also sell a concentrate (one quart = a gallon) that is 400 ppm.
Curious as to where you got the 15 ppm?
