It's pretty easy to extract a beatless loop of the melody line from the
original mix of jaguar; a small amount of slicing is required but I managed to
do it (and therefore anybody with basic motor skills can). It's handy for
ableton sets. It keymatches with charlie webster's mix of 'Cafe de
Alden Tyrell's latest on Clone is deadly.
Winter in Polarius on Creme is a v.cruisy release, though I dunno if Polarius
is dutch or not

Well it arrived in the post yeseterday and I gotta say that for me, this
is the best Fabric release in quite a while. Lots of layering, heaps of
quality canadian goodness - the future sounds great! Even though there's
plenty of the clicky minimal perlon sound, it doesn't get boring or
repetitive.
So I've been having a bit of a discussion on a local messageboard about
laptop performances.
By and large, they're really BORING. It looks like people are checking
their email. Or, if they're bopping along, it looks like they're
checking important email but really need to go to the toilet.
Yeah, I'm actually quite enjoying this acid revival. It seems to be the
next 'big' sound - it's only a matter of time before Madonna starts
wailing over bubbling 303 basslines but in the meantime there's some
nice stuff coming out - Abe Duque's 'What Happened' EP, some of the
