For our system - we do DB dumps (exports) every 2 hours and using a script zip those up and keep the last 5 or so. (1 day) for the DB -- Legato was used here once a day. on the ARS side - Migrator was used -- it makes a backup automatically. Plus had it do a total dump to desktop once a day or so
