It works, but you're at the mercy of the internet because of no SLA's. mincir, etc. There's supposed to be a design guide for Voice over IP VPN's comming out from Cisco in a few weeks. The same guy writing that is giving the Networkers class in a few weeks, which will be on the web after that.

Once is a project, I was using CAR on a 7200 with 5 Fast etherner sub-interfaces. I was using various access-lists (all of them were Extended). CAR was limiting bith Recieving and Transmitting (SEND) traffic. With No NPEs or additional modelus installed, the CPU time went to 40-50% in peek times.

Using the master command reference seems to help find a lot of things. If you order any new equipment they will give you a copy of the CD so go check your old boxes. Just remember that the CD in the lab may not necessarily be new. It's not unusual to have a CD that is a year old. Hunt Lee
