Subject: [Dx4win] SyncBack_DX4WIN_BACKUPS
Anyone have an idea of how to use SyncBack the free backup program
minutes (or whatever number of minutes you want) for 24
hours. Essentially, this creates a backup that runs every 5 minutes forever!
Thanks for the tip, Gary!

that this is a two step process - export to ADIF and then convert to
Cabrillo. But -- how do I get from ADIF to Cabrillo?

I am running DX4WIN with 4 of 5 of the devices listed above, and they all
happily coexist using 3 LPT ports in my computer. If anyone has problems
with this, I'd be happy to respond to any questions.

Radi,
I have hesitated to delete records from the QSL Managers database because
(aside from the very obvious "Windows Exception" error) it leaves blank
records in the file. I don't know if that will cause other problems or
not -- will need to hear from Paul on that issu
Don,
The following is part of an email exchange I had with WK6F about 18 months
ago. He was able to get his KAM plus working with DX4WIN (using the null
serial cable route) by using these control sequences.
Hope this helps you also,

The first three lines of my TCP file look like this -- I added underscores
in line 3 to make my two favorites even more obvious in the TCP list.

If you decide to go with a RIGblaster Plus, let me know -- I'd be happy to
share the document I wrote that describes the correct settings in the RB
Plus. (( I do not know if those would translate into equal success with a
"straight" RIGblaster))

You need one more step in the process, and it's a little tricky so make sure
you have your primary log file backed up before proceeding.
1. Open your primary log (eg. "K8UT")
2. Do a ile, ave as... to a new name (eg. "K8UT 2002")
3. Set a filter for all QSOs _b
for contesting and DX4WIN for DX'ing. However, DX4WIN will continue to be
the "center of the universe" for my ham radio log. This means that at the
end of this weekend's contest I exported from N1MM to Cabrillo for
submission; and exported to ADIF for import into DX4WIN.
