Hello, all...
*Latest Finale 26
*Latest Windows 10
I have a few printers to choose from:
One is an old LaserJet 8150 that I have networked at 192.168.1.48. Everything
works perfectly with WinFin 26--duplex, 11x17 paper, 1200dpi, etc.
Today I set up an old LaserJet 5000 to network on 192.168.1.20.
I’ve been asked (well, told) to use “mis-siz” and “mis-suz”...not saying either
is wonderful, but that’s what some people have used.

If a recent version of Finale is in play here, please try UNCHECKING
Document Options>Multimeasure Rests>Update Automatically.
I have come late to this thread & don't know which version of Finale the OP has.
But in recent versions of Finale, unchecking that option cures a number of
print ills.

Hi...
There is an authorize/reauthorize process.
So go ahead and install 2011 on your current computers. When you are ready to
switch systems, just deauthorize Finale on the old system(s) and authorize
Finale on the new system(s). I've done this several times without glitches. I
messed up once
I Hit send too soon.
Your installs are edition-specific, so installs of 2004 won't count against
your total for 2011

Excellent. Align/move was my concern.

Hi, all...
Has anyone tried to use TG Tools ver. 2.60 with WinFin 2011?
2.60 was the last version for 2010.
If so, can you report success? Disasters? Failures to perform?
Thanx

Jim Williams already mentioned the Update Automatically setting in the
MM Rest options. I believe it's this setting that causes the UL prior to
printing.
Indeed I do at least suspect this setting is responsible here.

I'm sorry to come late to this, but is this issue above and beyond the
need to UNCHECK Document Options>Multimeasure Rests>Update Automatically?
This function, designed to prevent scroll-view note entry into MM rests, also
forces an update layout when printing.

More tuba trivia:
A four-valve non-compensating tuba is not fully chromatic in the low
register.
With an Eb tuba, 4 valves, no compensating, low a is 2-4, ab is 1-4, g
is 2-3-4, gb is 1-3-4 (and sharp), f is 1-2-3-4 and very sharp and low
e natural doesn't exist. For a BBb tuba with 4 valves,
one, so please pardon all the typos.

You are best served here to give them two Eb tuba parts--one at pitch
in bass clef and one using bari sax transposition--treble clef written
middle C equals Eb below the bass staff.
You would be correct of you noticed that the parts will look alike,
but accidentals will pose problems.
