that this problem is attributed to autoconf 2.57. To have the libs
compile, first:
emerge /usr/portage/sys-devel/autoconf/autoconf-2.58.ebuild
Then kdelibs 3.1.4 sho

Looking at the ebuild it looks like sed is used to update the version

Anyone else have trouble with losing the ability to type in Mozilla (and
Firebird)? I've found that it fairly consistently locks me out of typing
inside of web text fields *and* the address bar. It seems like it
happens when I close another gui app... like K apps, mostly (I'm running
fluxbox).

A couple things I would add to other folk's answers...
There are some (somewhat incomplete) docs at fluxbox.org.
You can find all the config files in ~/.fluxbox... "init" has most of
the meaty stuff, but "menu" is the file to configure your right click
menu... oh and my favorite feature: scroll

I absolutely agree. I never would have gotten Gentoo installed without
my windows box sitting right next to it with multiple browser tabs open
to the various gentoo docs. A gui that incorporated the docs and guided

Don't know if this matters, but I'm using Prozilla. I've been running
Gentoo for about a year, but this is a fresh install I'm working on(So it's
never worked right yet)
# mkfs -t vfat /dev/hda3

from fdisk:
/dev/hda369 2501 19543072+ c Win95 FAT32 (LBA)
any thoughts?

Same process, different threads. The memory is shared across the threads
so the figures for memory usage look worse than they actually are. It's
not a dumb question, it's a dumb threading model, which is why it's been
junked in favour of NPTL in the 2,6* kernels...
