Just to wrap-up the thread I started about things I needed to understand
to help my
OB upgrade his old Athlon 64/Gigabyte m/b PC from WinXP to Win8.1pro.
The mechanical bits went quite well. His new 128GB SSD got installed and
cabled.
He removed his old 160GB XP EMHD. All his data was backed
of cleaning is compressed air/air duster (Which is largely
compressed air) as a result.

I do not think 2gb of ram is enough for w7 and beyond. IMO

playing inside his desktop PC. But, I am ready to help. I have now

Well, all I do is call the Phone Svcside of my fiber optic ISP and ask
to have a phone number blocked.
