Miriam,
When you create a favorite, you're put in an edit field and can do whatever you
want with the assigned name. As far as I can tell, you can't edit a favorite's
name once you've saved it. So what you could do in this case is delete the
existing favorite whose name you want to change and
as long as this particular Researchit lookup still works.

Hi, David.
I've just gone through the process up to the point of selecting Rome as a
destination. Let me see if I can recall the steps.
First, there is a line near the top of the page, as JAWS reads it, that asks
you to "continue" in English. Although JAWS doesn't say it's a link, it is. I
This isn't an answer, but I've noticed that different file copying applications
handle sorting differently. Of the two programs I've used, Windows Media Player
copies files to the hard drive in the same sequence as they appear on the CD,
while Express Rip organizes them alphabetically.
For the record, I find flexible web way more trouble than it's worth, and then
you have to start over when a website makes changes.

Mike,
I haven't used this option, but I just went through the process to confirm that
it works.
JAWS key+v for JAWS quick settings
Type "Personalize" in the edit field that comes up right away.
Arrow down to the sole search result, "Personalize Web settings" and press
enter.

Hi, Justin.
I haven't been following this thread, but in Word 2010 you'll find your
bullet-type options by doing the following:
Alt-h for home
Press u for bullet formatting.
Tab once to the list of bullet types.

To stop JAWS from reading graphics, go to the JAWS setting center with JAWS
key+6 (on the number row above the letters). Be sure to do so while in the
application where you want graphics turned off. Type the word graphics into the
edit box. Arrow down through the options. Tab once anytime you

Dave,
On the graphics question, you can tell JAWS how to handle graphics. Open the
JAWS settings center with JAWS key+6 (on the number row above the letters). If
you want to make your choice in a particular application, such as your email
program have that program in focus when you open the
Rick,
Sorry to start with what may seem the obvious, but just in case:
You're aware, right, that JAWS key+z is the toggle for quick navigation keys?
Have you unloaded and reloaded JAWS?
Have you rebooted?

After I've performed Convenient OCR on a PDF document, I copy the result into
Notepad, and only after that copy it to Word. It makes all the difference, I
think because the OCR result is presented at least partially in table form.

Sherri,
I know it annoys some listers when I give a Google search results page, but I
think you'll find your answer here:
Was that task to click on a button that wouldn't work in the normal ways?
That's when I most often use this keystroke.

Wayne, I also have word 2010. Lately, I've found that pressing the alt key,
then the f, followed by I, e works. Like Justin, I used to find the sequence
began with alt-f pressed together but not lately, at least with Word 2010.
One more thought. I might say to myself, "one and.." between each
The drawback of this method is that it eliminates some security protection. The
method Justin gives takes no time and maintains security.

Jerry, I've never encountered this problem. However, a likely way to get around
it is to paste the Word file into Notepad first, then copy that result into the
email message. The link should disappear. I have to assume this is a one-time
event.
