cardinality), or at least the quantity (total number of rows).
Therefore, usin EXPLAIN on this query with *this* data set is pretty
much useles

Less data to send to the client, less data for the client to process,
and the server can clear some space (RAM or disk) and gains an idle
thread sooner (less CPU).
So, certainly LIMIT can be good in lots of ways!

solid code, there can't be an absolute timeline with fixed release
dates. I am sure everybody prefers good code. Yet people also keep
asking about specific dates for version releases... I suppose it's
natural, we're all eager and
to a single company making a large
targeted contribution. It could very well be multiple small(er)
companies that have a similar need.
The question is simply how fast you need a certain feature, and what it
will save you to have it that fast, and/or gain you by having it help
your business. That
ate table for each year. You can always use a MERGE table if you
need to do queries that span over multiple years.
Anyway, with the MONTH being a separate column, the GROUP statement no
longer has to evaluate an expression. So there too will it be much
faster.

Check where the "make install" of PHP puts the libphp4.so
(also scan your disk for all occurrances of 'libphp4.so&

time you won't need it, but when you do, it's URGENT.
MySQL AB's support people have ample experience with this kind of stuff.

But you can simply stop the service (no need to uninstall the service or
mysql), and run the setup.exe of the new version. Then you can start the
service again. It's that easy.
