When large tables are being addressed, we seem to have encountered a bug

Win2k (at least the version that we are on) does indeed support files much

Run mysql-max-nt.exe from the MS-DOS prompt
. But I'm
getting ahead of myself here.
I want to use the --DataDir option of mysqld-max-nt to look for the data
in the F:\Apache Group\Apache\htdocs\data\ directory. Simple, right?
Here's what happens:
(BTW, this is a Win2k machine)

Hi,
I have an application written in MS Access 2000 which has linked tables from
a MYSQL database.
I'm having a problem running queries which update the linked tables. I can
update individual records ok from Access, but as soon as i tried to run a
query, the query failes saying X number of
Hi all,
I've done a decent amount of searching on Deja.com but haven't found anyone
with this particular problem.
I have two boxes running MySql on Win2k. Replication works great. One box
is Master, one is Slave. After the boxes are running, any write to the
Master is replicated to the Slave
systems! The
combined size of data files must be = 10 MB. InnoDB does not create
directories: you have to create them yourself.

Configuration: multiboot system. C: is for DOS and System Commander, R: is
for Win2K. \
(Most) applications go on F:, (most) data goes
- it actually
*should* return to the prompt. Buglet?)
Should my.cnf actually be on R:\ on my system since that is the root of the _system_
drive when I run Win2K (while C: definitely isn't)?
Cheers,

I think it is best to have only one my.ini

Michael,
Have a look at the thread Can't get MySQL running on Win2K (started by me) - I have
it working now (thanks Heikki!) and the solution might be of use to you as well.

The .bat file is put in the Startup-folder, but this means that when Win2k
Professional has booted, I end up with a command-window on my desktop, which I'll
have to manually close.
Can anyone think of a bit more smooth way to get it all going?

Since I like my hard drive more tidy than my house, I've put MySQL in
C:\Program Files\MySQL.
This means that I currently have to start MySQL using a .bat file, since
the
mysql-daemon won't find the MySQL-directory if I
