Il kernel non riconosce perfettamente la mia scheda madre AOPEN AX34 con il Chip VIA
VT82C686B.
L'Hardware monitor di Mandrake mi visualizza con il punto interrogativo i 3 Bridge tra
cui quello dell'agp e il CHIP VT82C686. E' per questo motivo che Xfree

I am a newbie, but from what I know it is perfectly possible that you cannot
receive your mail but at the same time you can send.
The problem is that each task is performed by different protocols. You need
a SMTP server for sending mails and ussually a POP server for recieving.

While you may have experienced this, it's NOT symptomatic of Athlon
systems, or even 750's.
It's more likely you were running into another problem preventing the
first stage kernel load... I.E. it wasn't finding the partition table,
etc. At Init you didn't even have a running kernel.

I upgraded my mb and cpu from a celery 450 to a athlon 1.4 gig and it worked
flawlessly, just make sure that your hard disks are in the same positions
they were before, ie if it was a primary master before, it must be a primary
