Have got a strange thing happening recently that no amount of MCC use
seems to fix.
Basically, though the Num Lock LED is lit, I am unable to use the number
pad part of the keyboard ~ it did once work fine with this distro.
The odd key here activates my system when in this stat (eg. the 5 key

you go to MCC to check whether it's correct or not (what kind of keyboard do
you have, Italian?)? I set English over a Portuguese keyboard. It works quite

Okay, whenever I quit out of KDE (root or normal user) I get a screen full of
warning unresolved field
xkbcomp errors are not fatal to the Xserver
stuff. Is this something I need to be concerned about/fix or should it be
ignored.

key returns. It would be useful for mapping some of the alternate
quicklaunch keys on many modern keyboards. I for the life of me cannot

I think the 250 is the time in msec before autorepeat, and 30 is the time
between repeats.
You will need to restart X before changes take effect.

There is a section in the BIOS, but ML8.1 doesn't seem to honor that setting.

Yes, there is no latinamerican keyboard in the installation. But do try
`xmodmap /usr/share/xmodmap/xmodmap.la'
