I am wondering why i haven´t already read such a question here (or did i

Anyway - as the subject says - how can i get rid of this graphical bootup
screen - it SUCKS !
I want the normal text bootup back, black background and linux kernel
messages floating down my screen.

The bootable flag just lets the BIOS know which hard drive to give control
to. It does not effect a partition's ability to boot an OS.

although its a standard unix mailbox format, created by procmail which

LILO just seems to be unable to start from the scsi disk..
has anyone any hints on this ?..
