[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spicefly Sugarcube stopped working

2009-12-23 Thread Phil Meyer
I am on SbS v7.5, Sugarcube 1.8.4. This was working fine, until a few days ago. I think my MusicIP library got corrupted when toddler decided to turn the power off - doh! So I rebuilt the MusicIP library, and I can make mixes through a player, but my Dynamic Playlist that used to play

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spicefly Sugarcube stopped working

2009-12-23 Thread Phil Meyer
Some progress - I restarted MusicIP and SbS, and now I can start the Dynamic Playlist for SugarCube. However, it still isn't working as an alarm. The only thing in the log to note is a single line: [06:45:28.3634] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::getNextDynamicPlayListTracks (1127) Couldn't find

On the flip side, there is also the problem that Touch/Radio wakes the server up too easily :-( If the local server is sleeping, and you want to get Touch/Radio to switch to MySqueezebox.com to play internet streams, I find there's no way to prevent it waking up the local server, due to the

I've only seen that intermittently, using 7.5 embedded. I've yet to figure out the exact circumstances that cause a spurious local server wake-up. Are you seeing that consistently? I was, yes. Gave up trying to use Radio when server is suspended a few weeks back - I'll try again.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Recent SBS changes have broken SugarCube/Dynamic Playlist

Potentially the problem was caused by a rogue Wake On Standby process that had some squeezebox server resources locked. There are some serious issues with Radio sending WOL packets unexpectedly (will post in Radio forum). I killed wosb.exe to release the locked resources (eg. server.log,

I tried creating a custom.map file and it works perfectly - I changed it to add.single = zap and add.hold = addmenu. Perhaps the add button had a conflict with another plugin, I just can't figure out which one because I have turned off almost all of the preloaded plugins and have only manually

Ok - I tried this and it works exactly as you describe - I can add to any of my playlists that I set up in Playlist Manager. Still not sure why the Playlist Manager menu isn't triggered by holding the add button. Strange. If the plugin is running okay, it should have overridden the add button

Based on what I read on Peter's plugin page I think zapping was the normal behavior for add.hold on an earlier release. That's right. Unless there is a conflict with another plugin add.hold should bring up the playlist manager menu. The only other plugins I use are MusicInfoScrn and
