I cannot find that menu in the web interface. I cannot seem to find a
list where I can add or remove menus, besides what I changed in the
custom browse menu.
You can't change the standard menus in SqueezePlay
I normally rate tracks with the IR remote, or from the Web UI. However, with
Touch and Radio, I set ratings using the track context menu action.
Today I tried to do the equivalent from browsing track details through a
classic player (tried transporter knob, Boom knob and IR Remote). i.e.

standard track details or if you have Custom Browse installed and is
showing the Custom Browse track details menu ? If you see a Standard

that I have both stereo and multi-channel rips of.

What part did you struggle with? I found it all quite intuitive. Sounds like
you are almost there if you got a custom tag scanned in and created a library
based on the custom scan content.
You don't need CustomBrowse - you could browse via My Music Libraries.

I am using 7.5.1.
I've noticed that sometime recently that the BBC News add-on has stopped
retrieving the news item bodies. I get a list of news headlines, but clicking
on most items reports empty.
On the Touch UI, if I back out of an empty news item, it reports No
information feeds found.
Looks like they have closed the low graphics version of the web sites
which is what I was parsing:

This is one of those plugins that's totally going to change how I
find new music and listen to it.
I use Spotify to try some music for a new band that I have heard of somewhere
else, but don't use it to discover new artists/albums. i.e. I find it good for

This method doesnt require filters to be pre-created. It will work
across all types of mixing; genre, album, artist etc so its not just
limited to filter mixing and jerking about with filters in the MusicIP
GUI and then reloading them all the time.

Dynamic Playlist uses two functions in its integration:
- getDynamicPlayLists
- getNextDynamicPlayListTracks
So these are probably a good place to start. I think the wiki
documentation of what they are supposed to do should be fairly correct:

It was/is driving me nuts!
I had tried all sorts of things; I'd unplugged network cable, etc.
However, it turned out to be something to do with a BIOS setting to wake up
computer via keyboard.
Try using the task manager or the sysinternals process explorer to make
sure there are no spurious SCPowerTool.exe instances hanging around in
the background.
I'd already checked if it was something to do with my use of WOSB.exe for alarm
wakeup, and found a few old exe's lying around. I assume
I use Server Power Control to Suspend or Hibernate my server from players.
This has been working well for a long time, but recently Hibernate hibernates
my server, but then immediately wakes up.
Suspend still works - it suspends until I send a WOL (or it gets close to alarm
time).
I've tried
I can't use the Transporter knob to navigate publicradiofan.com listed
programs. However, IR Remote works. Not sure if this has ever worked; never
tried it on a Transporter before.

I am on SbS v7.5, Sugarcube 1.8.4. This was working fine, until a few days ago.
I think my MusicIP library got corrupted when toddler decided to turn the power
off - doh! So I rebuilt the MusicIP library, and I can make mixes through a
player, but my Dynamic Playlist that used to play
Some progress - I restarted MusicIP and SbS, and now I can start the Dynamic
Playlist for SugarCube.
However, it still isn't working as an alarm.
The only thing in the log to note is a single line:

Potentially the problem was caused by a rogue Wake On Standby process that
had some squeezebox server resources locked. There are some serious issues
with Radio sending WOL packets unexpectedly (will post in Radio forum).
I killed wosb.exe to release the locked resources (eg. server.log,
I'll know for sure if it works from an alarm tomorrow morning...
Didn't work as an alarm clock music source. So it works if I start Spicefly
Sugarcube as a Dynamic Playlist manually, but not as an alarm music source.

I tried creating a custom.map file and it works perfectly - I changed
it to add.single = zap and add.hold = addmenu. Perhaps the add button
had a conflict with another plugin, I just can't figure out which one
because I have turned off almost all of the preloaded plugins and have
only manually

why the Playlist Manager menu isn't triggered by holding the add button.

Based on what I read on Peter's plugin page I think zapping was the
normal behavior for add.hold on an earlier release.

Unless there is a conflict with another plugin add.hold should bring up the

manager menu. The only other plugins I use are MusicInfoScrn and

did not use Playlist Manager on my old XP machine but decided to give it

Tried to play random unrated songs with year 2009 (a query I wrote and have
been using for ages).
It started up fine, queued 10 songs. The first song played fine, but then it
played again, and again, and then it finally played the next track. Repeat was
