if you can't go with the preferred option of fixing your 190, I highly
recommend getting a 5300c. You'll save money on batteries this way too,
since the 5300c and the 190 take the same ones.

me, and my boyfriend was able to open my 190 and know what would've had
to be done surgically on the basis of that info), although my 190's
problem turned out to be a dead power supply and needs no surgery).

Do you have any idea when this next release will be? I don't do gmail,
but I would like to give iCAB another chance by trying the new version

me well.

7.6.1 is a good choice for memory-challenged PowerBooks.
I believe a 7.6.1 was available as a retail product.
Hmmm, well, being that my PB is definitely memory challenged, maybe I'll
try again with the 7.6 install before I attempt my 8.1 inspiration.

Probably about as silly as I felt this afternoon when I couldn't use an
app from the web because it required 64 MB of RAM, and the Mac I wanted
are placed properly on the keyboard (whichever one), I
can almost touch-type. So, my fingers invariably end up on the wrong keys
at first when I switch keyboards, hence the amazing amounts of typos
until I make the size adjustments.
