attachment icon makes no response when double-clicked or when Open
is selected from the menu, whether the setting is for Use external

I discovered that there are 2 attachment problems with The Bat version 2.
They are making me crazy...
Note that I have a lot of different accounts.
1) OLD ACCOUNTS (CONVERTED IN THE PAST FROM .MSB FILES WITH THE BAT)
With version 1.62r, I have no problems and I can see these attachments
I'm clueless as to how I enable PGP-MIME signatures. Googling didn't help nor
could I find in the TBUDL archives. Is it possible with GnuGP?

Often they are PGP/MIME signatures, which you can only fully
appreciate if you use TB 2.0.

No. TB doesn't filter attachments, not even the even on the name. The
logic behind not filtering attachments is
attachments.
Rather than location=everywhere including attachments it might be
better to have a separate, new, 'location' option;
location=attachments. Then you existing filters would work as now
without any additional overhead and if you wanted to include
attachment filenames in your filter criteria you
