The reality is no one knows everything. Why single out the CCIE in an
article unless he doesn't know what he's talking about? Especially, since
the CCIE is one of the hardest certs to obtain. Ask anyone who has taken
the lab.
His advice to go online to research a problem is pure stupidity. Ho
Cisco 506 was recently on ebay and it sold for $960. Retail price is about
$1400. With corp discounts, it's about 900-1000. Does this Pix does
everything? Maybe. At least you know it works, and one does not have to
scour vendors to find the flash card.

Don't take this the wrong but if someone read the article when it was first
published, one would have seen that he referred to the CCIE cert. If the
article was read two or three weeks ago, one would have seen CCIE plainly
stated.
I read the article several times and I am 100% positive he wrote

less. Ask them if they mark the books with markers before you buy. Many
discount bookstores practice that.
